All pricing is based upon the customer furnishing artwork. Artwork requirements vary depending on the decoration and product.

SILK SCREENING
We need vector artwork saved as *.eps file with the fonts converted to curves or outlines in PC format. Any modifications necessary such as enlargements, reductions, typesetting, halftones, etc. will be done at additional cost plus proofing charges. Any computer work will incur additional charges. Art files under 3MB may be e-mailed to artwork.

We screen poly and vinyl binders using PMS coated inks unless specified to the contrary. We may use other inks and methods for other products. Light or bright ink colors on dark materials are difficult to match and could incur additional costs or just not be possible.

Bleeds are generally not allowed on custom binders or many off-the-shelf items. Always check with your customer service rep if you have special art requirements like heavy coverage or bleeds.

Silkscreening Halftones/Tints/Gradations: We use a simple round dot (65 lines per inch) for screening ½ tones between 30% and 70%. One color art must be prepared at 22.5° from horizontal to minimize the possibility of moiré effect. Ask your customer service rep for more information about 1/2 tone screens.

Union Bug: Available on most of our silk screened products. Always check with your customer service rep to be sure they know your requirements.

Proofing options vary based on the product. A pdf proof is fairly standard but material proofs and complete proofs are also available at additional cost. Please let your customer service rep know your proofing needs when requesting a quotation.

DIGI-VINYL™ – Artwork on front cover and spine only. No bleeds are allowed off the cover or through the hinges. We will send material proof for approval.
